Sometimes messy chaos is required, in order to be creative.
My melon making tools. A mechanical pencil to trace the template on freezer paper and fabric. Cut the fabric melon out, iron on the freezer paper, and glue the edges.Iron the background into four parts on the diagonal for placement lines and baste the melons on.
Two melon blocks and a rainbow were hand-stitched outside today. Tomorrow's weather will be equally divine. I tormented the neighbors with an eclectic music mix of Pinchas Zukerman's "Vivaldi: The Four Seasons", Josh Groban, and ABBA.
I had planned to finish "My Small World" by Jen Kingwell back in August. It has been nearly three months since I last stitched on this project. New deadline is by year end. :)
A few rows were knitted up outside too.
Hope you're enjoying great weather, wherever you are.
